Defence minister reiterates commitment to Nato as France refuses Israel use of airspace to transfer US weapons for war Back to Iran and the perceived lack of support from European Nato allies, US president Donald Trump has now turned to criticising France in his latest outburst on social media.

In a post on Truth Social, he said: “The Country of France wouldn’t let planes headed to Israel, loaded up with military supplies, fly over French territory.
