4 injured in multi-vehicle collision on busy Hong Kong road

Police received a report at 8.34am on Sunday that a driver of a van travelling along Prince Edward Road West towards Mong Kok had lost control near the traffic lights at Earl Street, grazing a truck and a coach before crashing into the back of a car.

The force of the impact propelled the van onto the pavement, where it came to a halt after hitting the boundary wall of Prince’s Heights Phase 2.

The car took the brunt of the impact, with its rear left severely mangled.
