Israel says it killed Iran’s top naval commander in bid to reopen Strait of Hormuz

Israel said Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ navy, was responsible for blocking the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian authorities did not immediately comment.
